This interactive, highly practical set of two workshops is open to new and experienced Non-Clinical & Health Support employees who assist in instructing team members in workplace procedures and the safe and effective use of equipment for their role.

Part 1: Instructing Adults
Understand and apply the principles of adult learning. (How do adults learn, and the best ways to help learning to be recalled.)
Plan to deliver “On the Job Instruction”. (What needs to be included when instructing for a procedure or safe equipment use.)
Part 2: Prepare and Practice Instruction
Prepare to deliver “On the Job Instruction”. (Tips on preparing materials for instruction.)
Practice delivering “On the Job Instruction”. (Tips & practice on instructing others to be able to learn and to repeat tasks as instructed.)
Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Job Instruction.
