About
East High is turned upside down when basketball star Troy Bolton and new student Gabriella Montez audition for the school musical. As the pair step outside the expectations of their classmates and challenge the school’s social cliques, students across East High begin to discover that it is possible to embrace more than one passion.Meanwhile, drama stars Sharpay and Ryan Evans are determined to protect the leading roles they believe belong to them, creating plenty of rivalry, humour and chaos along the way. With rehearsals underway and the big game and scholastic decathlon fast approaching, Troy and Gabriella must find the confidence to follow their hearts and perform on stage.
Packed with high-energy dance numbers, memorable songs and plenty of heart, High School Musical On Stage is a fun-filled celebration of friendship, individuality and breaking free from the “status quo.”
