This bi-partisan breakfast celebrates the release of the Australian Christian Freedom Index which is an inaugural annual report, documenting the legal, institutional, social, and cultural pressures on Christian religious freedom across all Australian states and territories. It is the first systematic measurement of this kind in Australian history.A selection of 7 the 11 Authors will each bring a short highlight from their work on the Index. They include Michelle Pearse, CEO Australian Christian Lobby; Peter Downie, Director of FamilyVoice Australia; Damian Wyld, CEO of the Australian Family Coalition; George Christensen, Director of CitizenGo in Australia; Kurt Mahlburg, from the Canberra Declaration; Professor Gabriel Moens, Lecturer In Constitutional Law: John Steenof, Director of the Human Rights Law Alliance.
A number of other Parliamentarians and key Church leaders will also bring a greeting on the day. Suffice to say it will be a very lively and interesting presentation. Every attendee at the breakfast will receive their own hand signed copy of the Australian Christian Freedom Index signed by the many multiple authors of ACFI report.
