From scrappy beginnings to a fully realised world of magic, mayhem, and micro budget miracles, the team will pull back the curtain on what it actually takes to get a passion project off the ground when no one's handing you the keys.
About ’The Witchy Girls’
The Witchy Girls, is a supernatural drag-comedy series produced by Iris Arc Pictures in partnership with Comedy Republic. Created by Robbie Ten Eyck (Lazy Susan) and Kane Bonato (Zelda Moon) - and starring Hannah Gadsby, Geraldine Hickey, Rhys Nicholson, Ella Hooper, Sez, Jordan Barr, Genevieve Morris, Hot Department, Hamish MacGregor, Alaska Thunderf*ck and many more - the series reimagines 90s teen witch stories through a chaotic, queer and unapologetically internet-era lens.
The Witchy Girls follows best friends Lazy Susan and Zelda Moon as they stumble through high school armed with spells, bad judgement and very big hair. These are not heroic teen witches, but deeply self-involved agents of chaos, facing enemies such as the Millennium Bug, STDs and the most popular girl at school all while never learning a single lesson
