Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service Professional Development Series 2026
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD): Understanding, Intervention & Hope
BPD is one of the most common and complex presentations within mental health services. Despite its challenges, it is a treatable condition. Drawing on the Spectrum Core Competency Training, this session explores contemporary understanding of the diagnosis, practical and stepped evidence-based interventions, and the critical role every clinician and service touchpoint plays in recovery. We will also examine comorbid presentations including neurodevelopmental differences, eating disorders, and trauma to support a holistic, compassionate, and clinically informed approach to care.
Because early intervention matters. Because every interaction counts. Because recovery is possible.
