The story of the triumphant rise of disability rights activism in Australia, Britain and the United States and the fight for equality. The film takes us on an international journey from the post war period when disabled people were routinely imprisoned in institutions for life, through the revolutionary activism informed by “the Social Model”, and the changes that allowed have allowed more disabled people to fully take part in society.
