SYD & Online | Surah Al Mujadilah - Tafseer & Tajweed
About
"Allah has certainly heard the statement of the one who disputes with you..." (58:1)Surah Al Mujadilah opens with one of the most profound moments in Quranic revelation — a woman pleading her case directly to Allah, and Allah responding with compassion and divine legislation. In this ten-week course, we journey deeply into this illuminating chapter of the 28th Juz, combining the art of beautiful recitation with a rich exploration of its meanings and contexts.
Over four carefully structured weeks, students will refine their recitation of Surah Al Mujadilah through the principles of Tajweed. Alongside this, a detailed Tafseer study will unpack the historical backdrop of the Surah's revelation, its social and legal dimensions, and the timeless lessons embedded in its 22 verses.
Whether you are looking to beautify your recitation, deepen your connection to the Quran's message, or both — this course offers a structured, spiritually enriching path through one of the Quran's most socially conscious and legally significant chapters.
Open to people of all levels of reading.
As a bonus, Ustadha Zainab will also cover a couple of forgotten heroes of our history after the Tafseer session.
Classes are also available online. Please register and you will receive a link to the class.
At Mizan, we charge a small fee to help cover costs and sustain our classes, however we never want cost to be a barrier to seeking knowledge. Please reach out to us and we’ll happily waive the fee if needed.
