2026 CAT Coding Challenge
CAT Coding is a FREE opportunity to help students develop their coding skills by coming up with programmed responses to selected CAT questions, using a variety of programming languages. Students can participate unsupervised at home or in a school setting. Collaboration is a key part of CAT Coding and students are encouraged to work on problems with their peers.
CAT Coding kicks off immediately after the CAT competition and can be done at any time over the three-week period. It’s free to participate and is a perfect extension activity for your CAT students. Note that all students are eligible to enter, even if they have not completed the CAT competition.
When: Friday 22 May to Friday 12 June
Students may participate from home at their preferred time within the system's open time frame.
