About
The New Principal Welcome and Orientation Program is a centrally facilitated and funded initiative designed to support newly appointed Victorian school principals in the early stages of their leadership journey.Delivered in person, over two days, by departmental subject matter experts, the program complements regional inductions and professional learning provided through the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership. It offers a consistent, practical foundation in the key technical leadership responsibilities of the principal role.
Overnight accommodation is provided at Le Méridien hotel. We encourage participants to stay to connect with fellow principals and make the most of the networking opportunities.
Please note that places are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once filled, a waitlist will apply.
