Join us for the exhibition launch of Tegan Bailey's, 'Was/Wasn’t/Won’t Be'.Was/Wasn’t/Won’t Be is an interrogation of the archetypal roles and moral ideals that take root inside the female body. Through a layering of printmaking, collage, and textiles, repetitive marks and ghostly silhouettes visualise the tension between inherited duty and personal reclamation. The exhibition explores an atmosphere of presence through absence, inviting viewers to reflect on the quiet violence of systemic regulation and the emotional complexity of navigating childlessness and bodily autonomy.
