CPD Guide: 1 EW, PS: The Society welcomes back Dr Hayley North, Neuroscientist at Understand Your Brain, to present this session on using neuroscience to adapt and thrive with change.

CPD Guide: 1 EW, PS
Format: Livestreamed
Recorded: With the presenter's consent

When: Wednesday 7 April 1-2pm

Session Outline

Navigating change and uncertainty has become one of the biggest challenges of our time. Becoming adaptive is more than coping with change, it’s about engaging with it intentionally, staying curious, open and ready to grow. Because our brains are wired to predict, change can be stressful and something we avoid. But with theright tools we can learn to embrace it and thrive. This session translates neuroscience into simple, practical tools that can help you navigate uncertainty with clarity and confidence. Participants will understand why the brain resists change, how to work with it (not against it) and leave with strategies they can apply immediately.

Presenter

Dr Hayley North has a PhD in neuroscience and dedicates her life to a scientific understanding of the brain and sharing that understanding with the wider community to improve wellbeing. Her  research and publications uncover molecular and genetic changes in mental illness. But it's Hayley's contagious enthusiasm and ability to explain complex topics to non-scientists that have engaged audiences around the country to implement positive and lasting change within their lives.
