Come and join us for our "One Night Beyond" Ska and Reggae night on 18th July at our speakeasy Bar at Eleven Bridges. Enter through the bottle shop at the front to a wicked hidden venue at the back. We will be spinning Ska, Two-tone, Reggae, Rocksteady, Blue Beat, Dancehall and Dub all on original vinyl. Our guests are DJ Jimmy Mac and DJ Loonie AKA Leonie.Lifelong DJ on the Mod and Scooter scenes and founding member of vintage vinyl clubs Modern Lovers (Edinburgh) and Gimme Shelter (Melbourne), Jimmy Mac brings a whole range of 'Skanthems' to the dance floor. Get ready for a heady mix of 60s Jamaica and 80s revival - with a few curve balls to keep you on your Two-Tone Toes!
DJ Loonie AKA Leonie is a Brisbane 2Tone DJ. Be ready for 2Tone era ska…think - The Specials - Madness - The Selecter. Bring your skanking boots, she's gonna light up the dance floor.
