Join us as we celebrate the Shortest Day & the Longest night of the year through honouring the traditions of our ancestors and the energies of Winter.
About the Event:
Bone Mother Temple Welcomes you to a beautiful evening where we will immerse ourselves in the energies of the Winter Solstice, honouring the darkest night and the return of the light. Winter Solstice, also known as Yule in the modern-day Pagan Wheel of the Year, is a time of great introspection and reflection, where we contemplate what it is we wish to conceive for ourselves through the next seasonal spiral of the year. This a community event open to all who are seeking to explore the realms of spiritual practice, deepen their knowledge or wanting to connect with other likeminded folk in a nurturing community circle. This circle is welcome to all genders, and to those 16 and above.
*Please note anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or Guardian*
We have curated the Winter Solstice Opening Ceremony with Yuletide rituals and activities that pay homage to its traditional roots but also honours the beautiful lands where we gather and reside. Come join us in celebrating the opening our first Bone Mother Temple Monthly Moon Circle!
What to expect:
~ Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a Ritual Smoke Cleansing, Rattle & Drum Sound Clearing & Ritual Oil Anointing to help release the tensions of the day and welcome you into Temple Space
~ We will then take our place in the circle and set the energy with a Grounding Meditation
~ After we are settled, we will then Introduce ourselves and communicate the agreements of the space and then move into our Ritual activities for the evening
~ Ritual Activities include Yuletide Crafting, Divination, Reflective Journalling and Intuitive Gift Giving!
~ Upon completing the Ritual Activities, we will hold a final Sharing Circle which will be open for you to share anything which is coming up for you on your Spiritual Path,
*All Sharing is Confidential and does not leave the Temple*
~We then close the energy of the circle and will enjoy a beautiful Yule Feast before parting ways
What you need to bring:
~A small gift with the value of $10 or less, preferably handmade or pre-loved, this can be 1-2 items, this will be for our Intuitive Gift Giving Ritual
~ A Plate of Food to share for the feast
*There are no cooking facilities in the Hall, so please bring something that can be re-heated*
~ Please Dress in Layers and Bring Blankets/Cushions for your comfort, we will supply these as well, but since its Winter we want everyone to be cosy. Chairs will also be available.
~ An Item to place on the Temple Altar to represent your energy, this can be something intuitively chosen object or something natural that represents the energy of Winter for you
