‘Welcoming Each Other’ Interfaith Education Seminar with Together For HumanityTo support primary and secondary schools in building communities that actively combat prejudice and promote belonging and inclusion, MACS will host two interfaith education seminar days featuring Together For Humanity as keynote presenters and workshop facilitators.
Together For Humanity is a leading educational organisation working with school communities to promote intercultural understanding and equip students with the skills to navigate difference with respect and confidence. The organisation advocates for the dignity and acceptance of every person, regardless of ethnicity or faith, and partners with schools to embed these values into everyday practice.
These seminars have been designed to support our schools in continuing this vital work by:
• Equipping leaders with practical strategies to foster inclusive and welcoming school environments
• Strengthening intercultural understanding within Catholic education
• Affirming solidarity with interfaith leaders committed to peacebuilding and respectful dialogue
• Challenging stereotypes and misconceptions
• Reducing fear of cultural and religious difference
• Addressing prejudice and discrimination
• Building empathy, mutual respect, and a genuine sense of belonging.
