Brunch with Bradshaw: Focus on Bil Baird
About
☕ Brunch with BradshawProudly presented by UNIMA Australia
Join us for Brunch with Bradshaw — a relaxed and inspiring online conversation with legendary Australian puppeteer Richard Bradshaw.
In this session, UNIMA Australia President Larissa Deak will chat with Richard about the life and legacy of Bil Baird, the influential American puppeteer whose work included The Lonely Goatherd marionette sequence from The Sound of Music — one of the most iconic puppet performances ever captured on film.
Richard Bradshaw is a Life Member of UNIMA Australia, internationally respected puppeteer, theatre-maker, and an extraordinary historian of puppetry whose knowledge spans decades of puppet performance, design, touring and theatrical history.
Whether you’re a puppeteer, theatre-maker, student, historian, or simply curious about the art of puppetry, this is a rare opportunity to hear stories, insights and reflections from one of Australia’s most respected practitioners in an informal and welcoming setting.
