SED Farewell Morning Tea - Amelia Ruscoe
About
We wish Amelia all the very best as she embarks on an exciting new chapter at Notre Dame. Amelia has been an integral part of the Early Childhood team at ECU, bringing with her deep expertise in literacy and the arts, as well as a creative and forward-thinking approach that has greatly enriched our community.
A true innovator, Amelia has pioneered a dialogic drawing methodology and played a key role in establishing and promoting a visual pedagogies journal in collaboration with colleagues across Australia and New Zealand. Her willingness to embrace change has left a lasting impact on both our programs and our people.
Beyond her professional achievements, Amelia is known for her wicked sense of humour, her creativity, and her genuine warmth. She has built strong friendships across ECU, often bringing people together over coffee, a ritual many of us have fondly shared. These informal gatherings became a hallmark of her collegial spirit, extending especially to sessional staff and helping to foster enduring collaborations and connections.
Amelia will be deeply missed, both as a colleague and a friend, but we are thrilled to see her take this next step. We wish her every success (and many more good coffees) in the journey ahead
To celebrate her achievements and wish her well for the next chapter, we will be hosting a Farewell Morning Tea on Tuesday, 16 June at 10:00 AM.
