As the Nepali Society of Tasmania 2024–2026 term comes to an end and we prepare for a new chapter in 2026–2028, NEST invites community members to join an open and meaningful Community Consultation. This session is designed to bring our community together to reflect on NEST’s journey, achievements, and growth, while exploring the vision and direction for the years ahead.This consultation will provide valuable insights for those interested in serving on the Executive Board, helping them better understand the responsibilities, commitments, opportunities, and challenges that come with community leadership. It is also an opportunity for the wider community to gain a clearer understanding of NEST’s role, purpose, and the realistic expectations of its leadership team.

• NEST’s journey, achievements, and growth over the years
• Vision, goals, and future direction of the organisation
• Roles, responsibilities, and expectations of Executive Board members
• Opportunities, commitments, and challenges in community leadership
• Open discussion, practical ideas, and community input for the sustainability and future growth of NEST
Most importantly, this event is about connection, understanding, and working together to build a stronger, more capable, and united future for our community.
