4 week traditional course
Let yourself be taken back to various moments in time and be given the opportunity to use a variety of historical bows and arrows. A number of techniques are taught relying heavily on the archer and good technique to ensure arrows hit the a mark. The 4 week Traditional course is a group activity and is available at Sydney Archery Bondi only. 4 x 1.5 hr classes. No previous expwrience necessary.

4 week Olympian course
This 4 consecutive week focusses on Olympic Freestyle recurve archery. Archers will be guided through correct usage of all equipment and technique. The 4 week Olympian course is a group activity and is available at Sydney Archery Bondi only. 4 x 1.5 hrs classes. No previous expwrience necessary.

4 week compound course
The Compound bow is the latest and most modern of all archery bows. If hi-tech is your thing then this course is for you. The 4 week Compound course is a group activity and is available at Sydney Archery Bondi. 4 x 1.5 hr classes

4 week Olympic Equipment setup and tuning
This course is designed for archers who own there own equipment and wish to learn more about setup, tuning and maintenance. Perfect for Squad Training members. Course follows the below format-
Week 1 - Equipment alignment. Centre shot setting, Limb alignment, Sight alignment, tiller.
Week 2 - Tuning arrow flight. Select the correct arrow spine, Bareshaft tuning, clearance issues.
Week 3 - Stabiliser selection and setup, alignment and balance
Week 4 - Upgrading equipment and understanding the ramifications of increasing poundage and new arrows. Each archers gear is examined and assesed for tune and potential correctionsThis course is designed for experienced archers

10 Week Archery Squad Training Term 1 2026
Term starts February 1 2026 and ends 5 April 2026
Weekly classes held every Sunday at either 9am, 10am or 11am. Classes are are small groups of no more than 8 archers, grouped by age and experience.
All archers under the age of 14 year must be accompanied by an adult.
