St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne Clinical Trials Day
About
Join us at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne Clinical Trials Day 2026 – a free, interactive education day designed for patients, carers, family members and anyone living with or affected by blood cancers (myeloma, lymphoma, leukaemia and related blood disorders).Discover:
• What clinical trials are and how they give Australians early access to the newest treatments.
• The latest clinical trial breakthroughs in myeloma & plasma cell disorders, aggressive & indolent lymphomas, myeloid neoplasms & more.
• How trial participation can help shape Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) reimbursement and future standards of care in Australia.
In our popular interactive forum “Blood Cancer Journeys: From Trial to Triumph” you’ll hear real stories and have your questions answered directly by haematologists, trial nurses/coordinators and patients who have been through the journey themselves.
Expert speakers include Professor Hang Quach, Associate Professor Matthew Ku, Dr Masa Lasica, Dr Matthew Rees, Dr Shirlene Sim, Dr Shuh-Ying Tan, Associate Professor Elaine Sanij, plus representatives from the Leukaemia Foundation, Lymphoma Australia and Myeloma Australia.
This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from the clinicians and researchers leading blood cancer trials in Australia, connect with others on the same journey, and leave feeling informed and hopeful.
