After over two decades in the media and honing my craft across all forms of communication, Jarrod Walsh brings you a practical philosophy to simplify the art of communication and connection, making it accessible in everyday life.Here’s how the workshop works:
• Leave job titles at the door: This is a level playing field where we strip back communication to its essentials, focusing on connecting with your audience authentically.
• Confidence-building: Learn to speak openly and honestly, regardless of the size or demographic of your audience.
• Tackling nerves and anxiety: We explore their role in communication and develop strategies to harness them effectively.
• Leadership skills: Dive into techniques to become the most effective leader you can be.
• The tough chat: Learn to adapt your communication style without compromising your message.
• Self-connection: Before connecting with others, we focus on communicating effectively with yourself.
• Hands-on learning: Every module includes practical exercises, with ample time for questions.
• Collaborative approach: This isn’t about me speaking for hours—it’s a shared journey where we learn together.
• Special guest appearance: A communications expert who deals with crisis communication to wrap up the first session!
Most importantly, this is a safe space where what’s shared stays within the group. At the end of the workshop, Jarrod provides resources to help continue your journey.
Who is it for?
SpeakGood Workshops welcome people from all walks of life, and people who have recently collaborated are:
• Radio hosts, CEOs, IT professionals, sports administrators to air-conditioning mechanics
• ASD educators, dance studio owners, podcasters, university students, and politicians
• Media professionals, educators, apprentices, massage therapists, government officials, elite athletes.
• Private and Public primary and secondary schools.
No matter your industry or stage in life, communication and connection are universal skills.
Workshop details:
• Format: Two evening sessions (6–9 PM, usually on a Wednesday)
• Investment: $500 (plus booking fee & GST), covering everything you need
• Next workshop: Scheduled for Wednesday July 1 & 8 6-9pm
Participants also gain access to an exclusive Facebook group to stay connected with others who’ve been through the workshop.
