Meet Brooke the Rural Journalist
About
Careers & Journalism Webinar for Homeschool StudentsJoin us for a special live webinar exploring careers in journalism, media, and the future of news, featuring guest speaker Brooke Hargraves.
Brooke will share her personal journey into journalism and give students an insider look at what working in the news industry is really like today. Together, students will explore how news and media are changing in a digital world, how information is shared online, and what journalism could look like in the future.
This interactive session will also encourage students to think critically about the media they consume. Students will be invited to share their own ideas and perspectives, including:
What they enjoy about news and media today
What they would change about modern news reporting
How communities can tell their own stories in meaningful ways
