As artificial intelligence (AI) diffuses deeply in organisations, work is evolving at a fast pace and raising many questions. In the 'future of work' that has already become our present, should we expect to work less? Will employment fall? How should we prepare the next generations? 

Join us for the next Gourlay Ethics in Business Lecture as Professor Thomas Roulet explores the recent research on AI through the lens of business ethics, examining how AI is transformating organisations and the workforce and considering the ethical choices facing both institutions and individuals as they navigate this new and uncertain terrain.

About the lecturer

Professor Thomas Roulet is a globally recognised expert in business ethics, leadership, and the future of work, with a strong focus on workplace mental health. His research is widely published and featured in leading academic journals and major international media.

He co-authored Wellbeing Intelligence in 2025, a highly regarded guide to improving workplace mental health and wellbeing and holds influential roles including co-chair of a World Economic Forum leadership council.

He has received numerous prestigious honours for his contributions. In addition to academia, Thomas works closely with corporations and governments worldwide, advising on ethics, sustainability, and organisational challenges.
