Join The Life & Love Studio for a special Family Portrait Fundraiser supporting St Ita's Primary School.This is a wonderful opportunity to support the school community while capturing beautiful, meaningful memories with the people you love most.
Held in our private Nilma North studio, each family will enjoy a relaxed 10-minute professional photography session designed to capture genuine connection and natural moments. Multiple images will be taken during your session, giving you a variety of beautiful portraits to choose from.
Immediately after your session, you’ll be invited to view your images and select your favourite photograph. Your chosen photo will be professionally printed and presented in an elegant 11x14" matted print and delivered to St Itas Primary two weeks after your session. Additional digital images will also be available for purchase on the day should you wish to cherish even more memories from your session.
The cost per session is $60, with $40 from every booking donated directly back to St Ita’s Primary School as part of this fundraising initiative. The remaining $20 contributes towards studio and material costs.
As a local photography business with over 20 years of experience, The Life & Love Studio is passionate about supporting local schools, working with families, and creating lasting memories for the Gippsland community. We believe photographs are more than just images, they are treasured keepsakes that celebrate the people and moments that matter most.

Where will the photo shoot take place?
Our mini sessions will take place indoors at our studio - 409 Briggs Road, Nilma North.
What Should We Wear?
We recommend avoiding outfits that are too “matchy-matchy.” A great starting point is choosing 2 complementary colours and working with different shades and tones within those colours. Neutral and solid colours photograph beautifully and help keep the focus where it belongs — on your faces, connection, and personalities. We generally suggest avoiding large logos, busy patterns, or distracting prints.
When Should We Arrive?
Please arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled session time. As these are mini sessions running back-to-back, late arrivals may reduce your shoot time and the variety of images we are able to capture.
We Have a Large Family — Is That Okay?
Absolutely! If your group has more than 6 family members, please contact our studio on (03) 5648 1000 prior to booking so we can ensure we allocate the best setup and timing for your session.
Can I bring my Pet to the photo session?
We completely understand that pets are part of the family, and many families would love to include their furry friends in their portraits.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of these mini sessions, we are unable to accommodate pets. Sessions are scheduled back-to-back with limited time available, and we need to ensure each family receives their full allocated session time while keeping the day running smoothly.
If you would love to include your pet in your family photos, we would be delighted to welcome you for one of our full family portrait experiences at a later date. These extended sessions allow plenty of time for your pet to settle in and be included as part of the experience, ensuring we capture beautiful images of your whole family, fur babies included!
More About Your Session
During your session, we’ll capture a variety of images using different poses and backgrounds. Our friendly team will guide you every step of the way to ensure everyone feels relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
Please note that mini sessions are approximately 10 minutes of shoot time and are designed to be short, fun, and efficient.
If you fall in love with the experience and would like a more personalised and extensive family portrait session, our team would be delighted to chat with you on the day about our full portrait experience options.
Immediately following your session, you’ll be able to view your images and select your favourite photograph to be printed as your included complimentary print. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional digital images should you wish to take home more memories from your session. EFT facilities will be available on the day for any additional purchases.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time are eligible for a full refund.
