Our Local FIRM is a group of business owners and managers who get together for lunch each month to share news, views, opportunities and challenges in business and life. We have the golden rule of "no selling" - we are there for the Fun, Inspiration, Relationships and Meaning because they are what the group is all about. At each lunch, we have a discussion on a particular subject of common interest and we collect songs from you to put on our Youtube Music playlists for everyone to enjoy. This month, we are talking about burnout - what it is, why it happens, what the experience is like and what we can do about it. Since this group first came into being back in 2007, there have been countless times that business owners have brought their challenges to the group and found support. As Peter noted at the last lunch, that has ramped up this year. That is why we are having this conversation. Relationships play such an important part in these sorts of sharings and so that is the song theme this month: songs about the differences that relationships (human or otherwise) make to our wellbeing.Location
