This Open Floor Conscious Dance and Meditation Practice with Kelsaya-CommonMovement offers a lightly guided, lively and dynamic Dance that supports Embodiment, Health and Wellbeing, Creativity and Connection with self and others through the Presence and Mindfulness Practice of Open Floor.Doors open 6.45 for 7-8.30pm Dance.
Held at the beautiful St Margarets Church Hall, Pitt Street, Eltham.
$25 Concession $30 Full
This Open Floor Dance and Movement Mediation Practice does not require previous dance experience, just a preparedness to show up with self and others and practice being with yourself and others, enquiring and moving in the present.
This practice is conducted with a held, safe, respectful, non-judgmental space.
It is a practice free from substances, drugs, alcohol and tech devices (no Phones)
Dance with bare feet or non slip soft shoes so you can feel your feet on the ground.
The Movement Cycle, Core Movement Resources and the use of Body Parts as Anchors along with support our dance in Solitude, Connection, Belonging and with the greater field of Connection and Existence, are some of the Open Floor frame work that structures this practice.
