Join award winning Palawa (trawlwoolway) artist and designer Josh Deane (Joshua-Deane Gower) for an immersive, hands-on textile up cycling workshop. In Indigenous culture, honouring resources and minimising waste is a deeply rooted tradition. This workshop brings that philosophy to life, directly tackling Australia's massive textile waste crisis by transforming old garments into unique, wearable masterpieces. Whether you're a seasoned creative or haven't picked up a paintbrush since primary school, you can dive right in.
This special NAIDOC edition features exclusive, NAIDOC inspired design templates and stencils created by Josh.

Get direct, one on one guidance from Josh on textile painting, intricate line work, and paint layering.
Use custom templates to customise your own clothing or a provided organic fabric panel (perfect for framing or sewing into patches).
Walk away with a renewed perspective on consumption, waste, and the environment.
