Year 9 HEAP & GAT – English London Tour Information Evening

We are excited to invite parents and caregivers of Year 9 HEAP and GAT students to an upcoming English London Tour Information Evening, where we will share details about a proposed English Literature Tour to the UK in 2027.📅 Date: Wednesday 3 June (Term 2, Week 7)
⏰ Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
📍 Location: Harrisdale Senior High School Lecture Theatre
This immersive tour is designed to bring English learning to life, with students exploring literary and historical sites across England.
Highlights of the proposed itinerary include:
• Visiting iconic London landmarks such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and the London Eye
• Attending West End and Royal Shakespeare Company theatre performances
• Participating in a Globe Theatre workshop and Shakespeare-focused learning experiences
• Exploring the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studio Tour and the British Library
• Travelling beyond London to Bath, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and York, including literary walking tours and visits connected to Jane Austen, Shakespeare, Mary Shelley and the Brontë sisters
The tour is scheduled to take place from Saturday the 26th of June (end of Term 2 Week 9) until Wednesday the 7th of July (first week of the school holidays).
The information evening will cover the full itinerary, costs, payment schedule, and application process, with time available for questions.
