Get ready for a night of smoky blues, soulful food, and unforgettable atmosphere as Swaino’s Supper Club returns to Cairns with a special Back to the Blues evening.
Featuring the powerhouse duo of Tim Griffin and Joel Sutton, this dynamic pairing will transport you straight to the deep South with gritty blues vocals, masterful musicianship, and infectious energy. Tim’s powerful sound blends blues, roots, and gospel, while Joel’s superb drumming drives the rhythm of a truly memorable live performance.
Tim Griffin is no stranger to the blues scene, having won the Memphis Blues Challenge in Brisbane and earning the honour of representing Queensland at the International Blues Challenge in the USA.
Joel Sutton is a blues heavyweight, a former member of the legendary Bondi Cigars, Mal Eastick Band, and has worked with artists Vika &Linda, Chris Wilson, the list goes on...
Together, Tim and Joel are highly respected musicians with an impressive history of festival appearances, Australian and international tours, and support performances alongside artists including Eric Bibb, The Black Sorrows, Russell Morris, and James Reyne.
Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary drink on arrival, followed by a soulful buffet dinner lovingly prepared by Swaino. Please BYO drinks for the evening.
