Sculpt in clay. Find out how to make your own dragon or other creature with attitude - friendly or fierce. You may be surprised at the result!Meredith will demonstrate how to make a dragon using some of the techniques she has adapted for use in her own sculpture practice using a combination of hand-building and sculpting techniques. These techniques can adapted for a variety of projects.
This class is suitable for complete beginners, and also experienced sculptors and potters who want to try some different techniques. Classes are flexible.
Cost includes on third of a 12.5kg block of clay and tools to share. Firing extra.
About Meredith
Meredith makes dragons, frogs, pelicans, figures, faces etc as can be seen on the front mural of Bulleen Art and Garden and in the gallery. She has been making, exhibiting and selling ceramic sculpture for over 35 years, and taking these Ceramic Sculpture workshops since 2000.
