About Our First In-Store Session 🌿Join us Friday 29th May at 10am for the first of our Wattlebee Baby In-Store Sessions, created to offer warm, supportive conversations with trusted local professionals for parents, parents-to-be and their support people across the Northern Rivers.
This is the first of what we hope will be many last Friday of the month sessions, supporting Northern Rivers families through pregnancy, postpartum and the early years of parenting.
For our first session, we’re so pleased to welcome:
Jess | Human Kind Midwifery
Jess is an Endorsed Private Midwife and Director of Human Kind Midwifery. With over 30 years of experience across hospital, community, and research settings, Jess blends clinical expertise with a relationship-based approach, supporting women and families through pregnancy and the early weeks after birth.
A passionate advocate for inclusive care, Jess has extensive experience working with First Nations, CALD, Neurodivergent, and LGBTQI+ communities. She offers Medicare-rebated antenatal, postnatal, and lactation support via clinic, home visits, or telehealth.
Nurit | Nurit Sleep Consultant
Nurit’s approach is calm, respectful, and non-judgemental, supporting families with practical information and realistic strategies tailored to individual family needs.
Nurit offers gentle sleep support consultations and personalised sleep plans for families seeking additional individual guidance.
Together, Jess and Nurit will be sharing conversations around:
• Preparing for breastfeeding
• Understanding newborn feeding and sleep cues
• Sleep, settling and the early weeks
• Gentle, responsive support strategies
• What to expect in those first weeks with baby
…and more.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We’ve allocated up to 2 hours for the session to allow time for questions, discussion and a relaxed, supportive environment 🌿
