Bus Ride to Trams After Dark
Catch a ride to and from the Sydney Tramway Museum with the Sydney Bus Museum.
This year we will be taking 1959 AEC Regal IV 3197 a true Sydney Tramway Replacement bus, and 1952 AEC Regal III 352 which operated for the Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board, who operated a fleet of nearly 300 buses in addition to its electric trams.
Tickets are available on both buses, you will need to book a seat on your desired bus. Tickets are strictly limited to 25 passengers on 352, and 40 on 3197. 352 will be running some scenic trips and special trips around Loftus and Sutherland, whilst 3197 will be running a shuttle all evening between Loftus and Sutherland.
Departure times and information are as follows:
Sydney Bus Museum, Front Entrance - 1:30pm
Central Stn, Railway Colonnade Dr - Coach Bay 1 - 1:50pm
Rockdale Stn, Princes Hwy Stand E (before Bay St) - 2:15pm
Arrive Sydney Tramway Museum - 2:50pm
Buses are not real time tracked and travel time updates cannot be provided. Please arrive at the the bus stop and wait for the the bus. We are unable to control traffic issues.
