Sunday July 5th 2026 9.30am-12.30pm Charcoal Drawing for Beginners with Shahnaz Alizadeh $35/$45, 18+ years, 10 places

Shahnaz will help you in this beginner-friendly class to learn the foundations of drawing, such as shapes, forms, light and perspective. You will learn what materials need to be used to complete an artwork.
All the required materials are supplied.
Tuesday 7th July 2026 10.00am-12.30pm 'Let's Tangle Dogs' with Helen Lock $15 (no member discount for this Workshop) Open to all ages 10-100yrs (under 10yrs must be accompanied by a responsible adult) , Maximum 10 places

Unleash your creativity at Let’s Tangle A Dog!
In this fun and relaxing workshop, you’ll learn how to use Tangle patterns to create a unique dog artwork. Included is a pre-drawn outline on quality mixed media paper, all equipment, and a frame. Step-by-step guidance makes it perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike. Participants will take home either their completed framed artwork or their finished creation and frame, depending on class time. A paws-itively enjoyable session for dog lovers and art enthusiasts of all ages!
Thursday 9th July 2026 , 9.30am-12.00pm, Tactile Canvas: using Texture on Painting with Sue Sharp $30/$40, 16+ years, All Levels, Maximum 8 places.

Join me for a hands-on painting with texture workshop where you will explore exciting ways to add depth, dimension and movement to your art work. Using palette knives, modelling paste and mixed media materials, you will learn how to create a richly textured landscape.
Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this relaxed creative session encourages experimentation while guiding you through practical techniques you can continue using at home.
All materials are provided- just bring your curiosity and creativity.
Sunday 12th July 2026, 9.30am-1.30pm, Bead Weaving Jewellery Workshop with Hilary Barton , $50/$65 18yrs+, all levels, Max 8 places

Create your own pair of stunning earrings using bead weaving techniques. Expert Hilary Barton will guide you through the steps. You will be using beautiful beads from the Czech Republic and Japan to create a pair of earrings to take home. All materials provided. You just need good eyesight! Please bring a magnifying device with you if you feel your eyesight is not tip top. eg table top magnifying light or magnifying headset.
Monday 13th July 2026 9.30am-2.30pm Ocean Textures - Wool Painting with Audra Guy $75/$90, 16yrs+, Beginners to Intermediate, Maximum 7 places.

Join expert needle felter Audra Guy and learn how to create a textured needle-felted painting inspired by our beautiful blue ocean. We will explore how to blend wool to create colour, how to build volume, shape, texture, light and shadow. There will also be the option to embellish your artowrk with gems, glass beads and pearls before presenting it in a qualtiy glass frame. Your very own art. Workshop cost includes all materials, a high quality glass frame and high quality needle felting needles.
Tuesday 14th Jul 2026, 10.00am-12.00pm , Macrame Boho Feather and Keyrings Workshop with Dawn Langridge, $30/$40, Beginners, from 6+yrs (under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult), Maximum 8 places

In this fun workshop you will learn several different knots and techniques to create 4 different styles of macrame keyrings and feather bagtags. Dawn will demonstrate, assist and guide you as needed while you enjoy some mindful macrame time out. All materials will be provided. Dawn has a current Working With Children check.
Thursday 16th July 2026, 10.00am-1.00pm , Introductory Botanical Watercolours with Lucy Gray , $60/$75, 18 yrs +, All Levels. Maximum 8 places.

Introductory Botanical Watercolours teaches the basics of watercolour paints in application of a botanical subject matter. You will spend half the time learning how to mix colour gradients, learn brush techniques and do a simple leaf study. The second half you will do your own watercolour study of a flowering plant sample as an artwork and take home in a frame. All materials will be provided and you will also receive a booklet that summarises all the learnings from the Workshop and extra tips and advice on watercolours and paints.

Murray Arts and Crafts, 1 George Street, Pinjarra WA 6209. We are located within the Edenvale Heritage Precinct in Pinjarra. Lots of free parking available. Best entrance for parking and access is the 5 Murray Street entrance, near the Roger May Machinery Museum.
