Voice of Democracy – Melbourne 2026
About
Voice of Democracy 2026 is a distinguished political, cultural, and community gathering proudly presented by the Iranian Australian Monarchist Association (IAMA).Held at The Centre Ivanhoe, this special event brings together members of the Iranian-Australian community, community leaders, professionals, academics, activists, and supporters of freedom, democracy, national unity, and a prosperous future for Iran.
The event provides an important platform to introduce the vision, mission, and activities of IAMA while fostering meaningful dialogue, cooperation, and engagement among individuals who share a commitment to supporting the Iranian people’s aspirations for liberty, human rights, and democratic change. It offers a unique opportunity to strengthen connections within the Iranian-Australian community, encourage civic participation, and amplify the voice of Iranians in Australia and across the diaspora.
Throughout the evening, guests will experience a carefully curated program featuring keynote speakers, community engagement, cultural presentations, and selected patriotic and traditional musical performances that celebrate Iran’s rich history, heritage, and national identity. These cultural elements are included to honour the spirit of Iran, inspire unity, and create an atmosphere of hope and solidarity, while remaining secondary to the event’s broader purpose of dialogue, community building, and civic engagement.
More than a gathering, Voice of Democracy 2026 is a statement of shared purpose and collective responsibility. It is an opportunity for attendees to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, strengthen community bonds, and contribute to a growing movement dedicated to a free, democratic, secular, and prosperous Iran.
At a time when millions of Iranians continue to strive for freedom, dignity, and self-determination, this event serves as a reminder that the Iranian diaspora has an important role to play in supporting democratic values, preserving our cultural heritage, and building a stronger and more united community abroad.
Together, we can ensure that the voice of the Iranian people is heard, their aspirations are supported, and their hopes for a brighter future remain alive.
