About
Mirepoix Butoh workshop hosted by Yuki Taniguchi, Cedar Roppola & Cieon Hilton.Join us for three Butoh workshops, each hosted by a different teacher, with a small performance at the end (optional).
Mirepoix is a French cooking term where you gently cook carrots, celery and onion to make the base for various dishes. We hope to give you the elements for your own mirepoix, so as to allow you to explore your innate Butoh.
Dates:
Workshop 1: Friday July 31st 6:30-8:30pm - with Cieon
Workshop 2: Saturday August 1st 4-6pm - with Yuki (we will share soup together at the end)
Workshop 3: Sunday August 2nd 2-4pm - With Cedar 4-6pm performance preparation and performance (optional)
There is the option to join individual sessions and the final performance is optional (but it's always worth trying something new/outside of your comfort zone).
