JOINING ROCK CHOIR AT LOGAN
Thank you so much for your willingness to participate in our next iteration of
ROCK CHOIR that is being funded and presented by Logan Entertainment Centre.
It’s FREE to participate in the rehearsals and performances of this project, as you will already have your ROCK CHOIR music,
t shirt and have been allocated your other costuming apparel, and will have attended all the rehearsals and performance at the RPAC concerts on Sat May 9.
THE IMPORTANCE OF REHEARSING
Obviously, you know the repertoire well now and have delivered 2 sensational concerts.
But the Logan project is a new combination of singers performing for the first time in a different venue,
without the benefit of the 3 years of hundreds of hours of rehearsals and workshops, along with the many concerts we’ve done in Redlands and beyond.
So I need to ensure that the Logan singers in particular, feel as well prepared and just as ready to perform at their best -
with your wonderful support and experience.
ATTENDING SATURDAY REHEARSALS
If you are planning to participate in this project - there are TWO Saturday rehearsals for you to attend (June 6 & 13) if you can’t make any of the Tuesday evening rehearsals.
MANDATORY REHEARSALS:
These TWO REHEARSALS are essential for you to attend - Thu 25 & Fri 26 June arriving from 5pm:

Sat 13/6/26 10.00am - 3.00pm - LEC#
Tue 16/6/26 6.00pm - 9.00pm - LEC#
Tue 23/6/26 6.00pm - 9.00pm - LEC#
Thu 25/6/26 6.00pm - 9.30pm - LEC#
**MANDATORY On Stage - Band rehearsal
Fri 26/6/26 6.00 pm - 9.00 pm - LEC#
**MANDATORY Dress Rehearsal (in costume & makeup)
Sat 27/6/26 3pm TBC - rehearsal - LEC#
7pm - 9.30pm concert

80-90 REDLANDS SINGERS NEEDED
We can only have a total of 120 singers on stage @ LEC, and there are currently approx 30-35 singers from Logan rehearsing.
Ideally, to help balance the choir sound with singers from Redlands, I need:
- 30 sopranos - 15 x 1sts & 15 x 2nds
- 25 altos - 15 x 1sts & 10 x 2nds
- 15 Basses
- 10 Tenors - men if possible
