2026 Circle of Mercy 2 - Anchored in Hope. Acting in Mercy
About
Where the Spirit of the Jubilee Meets the Heart of our MissionAs we transition from the global Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope, we are called to move from reflection into renewed action.
Session Two:The Welcome: Practicing radical hospitality in a modern world.
We move from the Wellspring of our identity to the doorstep of our community. We are honored to be joined by Sr Sally Bradley, whose deep experience in Mercy leadership and mission brings a profound heart to our theme - The Welcome: Practicing Radical Hospitality in a Modern World.
Catherine McAuley famously insisted that ‘the door should never be closed’ to those in need. In this session, Sr Sally will guide us through what it means to practice a hospitality that is truly radical, one that goes beyond a friendly greeting to create a space of genuine belonging and justice. Through the lens of Mission Work, we will explore how we can embody the spirit of the Jubilee by making our communities a sanctuary of Mercy for everyone we encounter.
