A course of meditations led by Venerable Tenzin Drolkar based on the Satipatthana Sutra, Buddha Shakyamuni's Sutra on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness: Perfecting concentration by focussing on the Body; on Feelings; on Mind and on Phenomena. By practicing these meditations we can move beyond our habitual reactions to the problems and distractions of everyday life and experience genuine spiritual progress.The meditations are designed to concentrate awareness on the moment; to stimulate curiosity about the spiritual Path through techniques to cultivate mental discipline, such as mindfulness of the breath. A quietening of the mind then takes place and we can move forward to develop more positive attitudes to the future.
