Join us for an insightful evening with Special Guest Speaker, Emma Tabacaru, designed to equip and support parents in guiding their children through important topics like:- Sexual development
- Healthy Relationships
- The Online World
- Understanding their God-given identity and infinite value
Cost: $5 Light refreshments will be provided
Where: Creekside Community Church Auditorium
Due to the nature of the topic, we are unable to have children with their parents in the chapel, however there are a limited amount of spaces for child supervision in the Sunday School room next to the chapel. We will have a member of Carmichael staff to supervise. Children are no additional cost.

Coming along will give you an opportunity not only to be equipped as a parent but also hear more information about content your child will hear from Emma over their time at Carmichael.
If your student is in a year level that will be in a session with Emma this year, you will receive an email beforehand.
More About Emma Tabacaru
Emma is on a bold mission: to challenge the messages young people are told—and to help them see themselves with clarity, strength and confidence.
Emma’s work is personal, purpose-driven, and shaped by real experience — from her own teen years to teaching high school biology and raising three children. She brings a rare blend of lived insight, professional credibility, and heartfelt connection to every student interaction. All of her sessions are presented from a Christian Framework.
As a sought-after facilitator, Emma delivers engaging, age-appropriate workshops for students in Years 5–12. At Carmichael College she presents sessions to our Year 5 & 6 students on puberty and delivers a number of sessions throughout secondary on topics such as health, body image, wellbeing, social media, friendships, relationships, and sex. Her approach is wholesome, values-based, and backed by evidence, creating safe spaces for open, meaningful conversations.
