Celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Torres Strait Islander Flag. It was designed in 1992 by Bernard Namok, who won a local competition held by the Islands Coordinating Council.

The striking design of blue, green, white and black represents land, sea, culture and people, as well as the different island groups of the Torres Strait.

Learn more about this important Australian flag with Caleb Thaiday (Meriam/Erub Kebi Le) and make your own tribute to the flag with a custom bracelet or key ring.

All materials supplied.
Light catering provided.
This is a free drop-in workshop, but please register for catering and materials.
All welcome.
