The Great Train Show — 24 & 25 October 2026Rosehill Gardens Racecourse
Experience one of Australia’s largest model railway exhibitions, spanning over 4,500 square metres. Explore an impressive variety of layouts, trade stands, demonstrations, the popular U Drive layout (raising funds for the Kids with Cancer Foundation), and a greatly expanded Second-Hand Stall.
Whether you’re a family discovering the hobby or a seasoned modeller seeking fresh inspiration, there’s something here for everyone.
Our friends at the Sydney Bus Museum will again operate heritage buses between Granville Railway Station and the show entrance, giving visitors a nostalgic ride to and from The Great Train Show.
Opening Hours:
• Saturday 9.00am–5.00pm
• Sunday 9.00am–4.00pm
Tickets:
• Single day: Adult $20 | Senior $16 | Child $10 | Family $50
• Two-day: Adult $30 | Senior $25 | Child $10 | Family $60
Our new two-day tickets are ideal for visitors wanting to enjoy the full weekend at a more affordable rate. Those buying their two-day tickets will gain a unique "early-bird" access into the Second-Hand Stall from 08:30 am on Saturday morning to pick up those fabulous bargains. Access into the main exhibition hall for all visitors, including the 'early-birds', will be given when the main doors open at 9:00am.
Single day tickets allow one entry only, on either Saturday or Sunday. Arrangements are available for pass outs and same day re-entry.
Food and refreshments are available in the exhibition halls.
Free parking is available at Rosehill Gardens, including disabled parking.
