About
At West Beach Surf Life Saving Club, we know our club is built by members, for members, and the best leaders are the ones willing to keep learning, growing, and supporting those around them.That’s why we’re inviting all members aged 18+ to join fellow club members for an engaging and interactive Leadership Workshop focused on building confidence, connection, and leadership across all areas of the club.
Whether you’re already in a leadership role or simply looking to grow your skills and get more involved around the club, this session is for you.
Who should come along?
Patrol Captains, Coaches, Age Managers, Committee Members, emerging leaders, and any members interested in personal growth, teamwork, and developing leadership skills within the club.

What to expect
This workshop is designed to be practical, relaxed, and member-focused, with plenty of opportunities to share ideas, reflect, and learn from each other.
Topics will include:
• Listening to and responding to feedback
• Understanding different leadership styles
• Being open to new ideas and change
• Developing confidence in communication and teamwork
• Building a positive club culture
• Growing personally and supporting others around you
As members of WBSLSC, we all play a role in shaping the culture and future of our club. This workshop is a chance to connect with fellow members, strengthen leadership skills, and continue building a supportive and forward-thinking club environment together.
