The Anatomy of Emotion- An embodied approach
About
One of the most profound parts of being human is our ability to feel. And yet most of us were never taught what our feelings actually are — what they look like, where they live in the body, or how to recognise them when they arrive.
This is a gentle, informative workshop where you'll be guided through the structure of five core emotions — Fear, Anger, Grief, Pleasure and Excitement — in a way that leaves you feeling enlightened, more at home in yourself, and with a genuine knowing of your own emotional anatomy that you can carry with you long after the workshop ends.
Together we'll explore:
🖤 What each emotion actually looks and feels like in the body
🖤 How to recognise and name what you're feeling in real time
🖤 Why accepting our feelings — rather than managing or suppressing them — changes everything
🖤 Simple embodied practices to help you gently connect with your inner experience
This workshop is for anyone who wants to understand themselves more deeply — and to feel a little more at peace with the full, beautiful, complicated experience of being human.
