From Waterford, Ireland and now based in Australia, stand-up comedian Ian Dowling recently decided to go all in on his dream of becoming a full-time comedian.After years balancing work in the construction industry with comedy gigs at night, he got fired after a couple of viral videos he posted online. So he figured the most sensible thing to do was jump on a bicycle for the first time in nearly 10 years and ride around Australia performing comedy shows along the way.
With no real plan, questionable preparation and a dangerously high level of confidence, Ian is setting off around Australia on the On Ya Bike Kant Tour — combining stand-up, adventure and complete chaos.
From the Catholic guilt-soaked streets of Waterford, Ireland to the land down under, this show takes audiences on a hilarious ride through the misadventures and classic blunders of an Irish blow-in trying to find his place in Australia.
Expect sharp storytelling, belly laughs and yarns so filthy you might just need a shower… or at least a change of undies.
