The Artist's Table: Michaela Dreaming (SOLD OUT)
About
Join us for an intimate evening of painting, conversation, and shared food at Soph's Dumplings, hosted by Australian artist Michaela Ferrari.Over two hours, guests will be guided through a relaxed, beginner-friendly paint and sip experience inspired by colour, memory, nature and storytelling. Exploring Indigenous Impressionism, Michaela's work explores movement, texture, emotion, and the wild beauty of the Australian landscape; drawing inspiration from native flowers, changing light and moments of connection.
As a mixed-race indigenous woman and self-taught artist, Michaela brings warmth, openness and a deeply personal approach to creativity, encouraging guests to paint intuitively and create freely in a welcoming low-pressure environment.
Held in the lead up to NAIDOC Week, these sessions are also a celebration of Indigenous culture, creativity, storytelling and community. Creating space to gather, connect and experience art together.
This is a BYO event, so bring something special to sip while you paint.
Each ticket includes our "Snack & Sip" experience - a curated selection of snacks and small plates from Soph's kitchen designed to share throughout the evening, with additional snacks available to purchase on the night.
Whether you come with friends, a date or on your own, these sessions are designed to help you slow down, connect and leave with both a full heart and something beautiful to take home.
