Join EducationUSA Australia for a free community information session designed to simplify the journey to studying at an American college or university after high school.U.S. universities aren't just looking for grades — they want to know who you are. This session will help you understand the application process, present your authentic self with confidence, and take the right steps toward your U.S. study goals.
Who should attend?
This session is open to all interested students, parents, school staff, and community members — whether you're exploring your options or ready to take the next step.
What we'll cover:
1. How to research and apply to U.S. colleges and universities
2. How to present yourself authentically throughout the application process
3. How to pursue recruitment as a student-athlete, including how to approach U.S. coaches
4. Tips for creating a strong sports résumé
5. The 16 NCAA core course requirements
6. U.S. college sports associations and how to find the right fit for you
Session structure:
The session will run in two parts. If your goal is academic entry, Part 1 (approximately 6:30–7:15 pm) covers everything you need if applying for academic entry.
If you are pursuing student-athlete recruitment, please plan to attend the full session.
