About
This refresher session aims to provide staff new to leading or supporting student attendance improvement in schools to learn about:• Attendance improvement initiatives that work in schools;
• Underlying causes of declining attendance and risk factors;
• Evidence informed strategies across the multi-tiered systems of support to improve attendance;
• Resources and referral pathways.
Target audience
New or Acting Principals or Assistant Principals, staff new to leading and supporting student attendance improvement in school such as MHWLs, leading teachers, leading teachers, year level coordinators, heads of house and wellbeing leaders.
