Victorian Flag raising and re-enactment
A Victorian flag raising ceremony and re-enactment of Governor Latrobe’s reading of the proclamation of separation will be held in Swanston Street, in front of the Melbourne Town Hall at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday the 1st of July 2026.
Bookings not necessary, just come if you are interested, there is no charge.
Victoria Day Awards Ceremony
The Victoria Day Awards will be presented in the Lower Town Hall Wednesday the 1st of July 2026 at 11.00 a.m. (No Charge).

Reception following the Awards
After the awards refreshments, including The Victoria Day Birthday Cake, will be served in a function Room in the Town Hall. The Reception will cost $15.00 per person.

A Dinner to celebrate the 175th Anniversary of Separation and to hear the LaTrobe Lecture will be held at:
- The Kelvin Club, 14-30 Melbourne Place Melbourne, Melbourne.
- On Saturday 8 August at 7.00 p.m.
This year the LaTrobe Lecturer will be Moira Kelly AO, Founder and Director of the Creating Hope Foundation and Victorian of the Year 2012. Creating Hope Foundation
The cost is $160 per person, which will include predinner drinks, a three-course dinner and wine.
