Exploring the Colourstrings approach
About
Prof. Géza Szilvay, the creator of the internationally renowned Colourstrings method, gives an introduction to the key principles and philosophy behind this child-friendly approach.
The session explores how the method approaches the very beginning stages of violin playing through:
- relaxed and natural posture and movements
- developing inner hearing and good intonation
- integrating instrumental technique, musical intelligence (musical literacy), and musical emotions
- music-making and chamber music develop social skills, and they’re a natural part of the approach
The webinar is organised in cooperation with Caprice Oy / Minifiddlers.
