Popping Workshop | Do you love me | Heshan Wickramaratne
About
Heshan’s classes bring the perfect mix of precision, energy and pure performance vibes ⚡️Known for his sharp movement quality and effortless stage presence, Heshan creates classes that feel exciting, challenging and insanely satisfying to dance in, while still being welcoming for beginners. His teaching style focuses on helping dancers understand groove, control and texture in movement, so you’re not just learning steps, you’re learning how to embody them.
A big focus in his training is popping, a foundational street dance style built on sharp muscle contractions, isolations, and rhythmic “hits” that respond directly to the music. It’s all about control and contrast: switching between tension and release, hitting accents cleanly, and bringing detail into every layer of the beat. Once it clicks, popping becomes one of the most satisfying ways to express music through your body.
Expect a high-energy atmosphere where everyone’s hyping each other up, hitting clean moves and stepping out of their comfort zone in the best way possible. Heshan brings a calm confidence into the room that makes dancers feel grounded while still pushing them to fully commit to the vibe ✨
This workshop will feature a beginner-friendly popping routine to Do You Love Me from Baaghi 3 where we blend hard-hitting grooves, sharp textures and performance energy with a Bollywood twist🔥
If you’ve been wanting to try something dynamic, performance-focused and full of energy, this is your sign 🧡
