We’re excited to welcome you to The Riverbend Sessions, presented by Moonshine & Maple. An exclusive intimate live music experience designed to bring artists and audiences together. Hosted at Astray Bar, Geelong, right in the heart of the entertainment and dinning precinct of Little Malop Street.
Expect folk and country inspired acoustic performances which will include renditions of well-loved favourites, along with performances of the artist’s original works. Featuring two captivating 45-minute performances with a relaxed intermission. Refreshments will be available to purchase at intermission. Doors open at 1:30pm
Artist CDs and merchandise will also be available for purchase on the day.

THE CHANDLER HARRIS COLLECTIVE
The creative partnership of Michelle Chandler, Della Harris, Sue Carr Amico and Sophie Louise Agostinello represents a powerhouse of Australian independent music, blending decades of individual success into a seamless acoustic group.
Michelle Chandler has built an international reputation for her evocative songwriting, soulful vocals and gifted guitar playing, leading to successful tours across the UK and the US. Her 2017 album Unravelling received critical acclaim for its sophisticated arrangements and storytelling.
Bringing a polished country pop sensibility to the group, Della Harris is a multi award-winning artist whose debut album Lets Do This achieved remarkable chart success with nine Top 10 singles and two number 1 hits. Her vocal prowess was recognised with back-to-back Peoples Choice Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2020 and 2021. Della’s ability to connect with audiences through honest, relatable stories has made her a staple of the Australian country music circuit.
Sue Carr Amico serves as a vital musical anchor for the group, adding a unique texture and joyful life to the group’s arrangements. She has played piano accordion with Michelle Chandler and her band for a number of years, providing accompaniment on Michelle’s CDs Unravelling and Live at the Skylark Room. Sue has also featured on album recordings for Kris Mizzi, Christina Green and the Jam Tarts Trio. She plays her piano accordion with depth and feeling, providing a sensitive layer that leaves ample space for instrumentation and vocals.
Sophie Louise Agostinello is a Melbourne-based musician and songwriter known for her honeyed vocals and evocative performances. In 2017 Sophie gathered together some of her treasured friends and produced her debut EP Tangled. She is also well known for her longstanding role as vocalist and soul diva in award-winning soul funk band The Deans of Soul, who have performed at events ranging from the Port Fairy Folk Festival to Fed Square. Sophie is a skilled music degree graduate who has collaborated with artists across the Americana, country, folk, soul and blues genres.
Together Michelle, Della, Sue and Sophie combine these distinct accolades to create a tapestry of acoustic melodies and heartfelt lyrics that resonate with authenticity and warmth. You will love THE CHANDLER HARRIS COLLECTIVE.
MOONSHINE & MAPLE
Lisa and Joseph, the duo behind Moonshine & Maple, first crossed paths at the weekly Bellarine Country Music gathering in Geelong, where they are now both regulars in the house band, The Urban Collective. Born from their shared passion for country music comes Moonshine & Maple, a lively acoustic duo with a slant on crowd involvement and sing-alongs. On this occasion they will be sharing some of their original songwriting, including a song co-written with Lachlan Bryan of The Pleasures.
Joseph is well acquainted with the country scene, boasting three Top 5 hits in the Tamworth 2TM charts with his Bloomvilles project, while Lisa is captivated by the storytelling magic found in many country classics. Their resume includes feature artist appearances at the Cowboy Christmas Festival at Queen of the West (2024), the Country Hoedown at the Manor Suite Wine Bar (2025), a support set for Hayley Jensen on the Geelong leg of her 2025 tour at Bellarine Estate, performances at the Tamworth Country Music Festival 2026, and inclusion in the lineup for the 2026 Lake Charlegrark Music Marathon headlined by The Wolfe Brothers. Most recently, they appeared as support for Amber Lawrence at the Pig & Whistle Main Ridge as part of her Suburban Cowgirl Tour.
